Hebert School of Law of Louisiana State University in 2000 with her Juris Doctorate. Sarah became licensed to practice law in Alabama in 2000 and in Louisiana and Florida in 2001. Sarah has practiced in Mobile since 2000 where she has litigated many complex civil cases, including cases involving intensive document production and has also been involved with serious personal injury cases. Sarah has practiced in the area of insurance defense representing both insureds and insurers in civil litigation and providing opinions on coverage. Sarah's current practice concentrates on defending civil litigation in complex business disputes and representing corporate and individual clients, both as plaintiffs and defendants. Sarah is married to Scot Dorger, and they have one child, Colt Thomas Dorger. Sarah assists in interviewing high school students for acceptance into the J.L. Bedsole Scholarship Program, a local program which awards scholarships to area high school seniors based on financial need and personal achievements. Sarah was in the first class of Bedsole Scholars, as she earned a scholarship to Spring Hill College. Because of the financial assistance she received from the Program, Sarah chose to become active as a Bedsole Alumni by serving on the Bedsole Alumni Council and mentoring Bedsole scholars about their college education paths. Sarah also attends Cross River Church. Sarah was recently featured in the Mobile Chamber of Commerce’s monthly publication “The Business View” for her status as a Bedsole Scholar, a local scholarship fund which helps send area students to in state schools and encourages those students to stay in Alabama when they graduate. Sarah’s role as a Bedsole Scholar is featured in the article found in the October 2008 Business View. |
